Yeah hahaha. I rate his ODI bowling tbh. Typical Sri Lankan batsman who bowls finger spin that doesn't turn an inch.
Haha, and yet I've seen him turn it square at home. All these Sri Lankan batsmen who bowl part-time straight breaks and think they're allrounders must shit themselves the first they see what one of their balls actually does when it pitches on an Australian wicket.
I just need to fit the last couple of jigsaw pieces into place and my team will be very competitive. My biggest weakness is that my batting lineup is more made up of very good first class players than test batsman. The last two players will make or break my squad though, imo.
If he picks wisely and gets another decent paceman I reckon he'll suprise a few teams. The batting lineup is full of consistent performers and a couple of guns. His got a quality keeper batsman too which will give him flexibility should he struggle to find form wioth his bowlers etc..
My team got really shaken up when I missed out on Pathan, I thought I would get him for sure. It's unbelievable ho lucky Julian is to have Kallis really, Benny with Flintoff is in a similar boat.
There are still some really, really good FC seam up all rounders out there tbh. There's actually two blokes who've scored thousands upon thousands of runs and taken hundreds and hundreds of wickets, averaging highthirties with the bat and mid 20s with the ball. Both have very similar records to Andrew Hall, but I took hall because he is more consistent and a better bowler than both of them IMO.
There are also several others who are more than capable as well, their figures just aren't as brilliant. But one in particular is probably only so because he kept his counterpart out of the test team for so long.
Well none of us have actually seen Hughes keep so we can't say if he is better/worse. The reason we've gone with Dilshan is based on him keeping in the latest series against Pakistan ahead of Sangakarra, although I'm not too sure if Sangakarra was injured/has retired from keeping. I guess we'll discuss it, you seem to think Hughes is better and since you're doing the database that might actually mean something
