I think it should do though. Else (hypothetically) say next season if another tour takes place, and there's been some big fall out and all the top players have left forum, but still sign up for a contract. Then would it be right to take the best team out there? When none of them will even know what's happening. It's the same priniciple here, just on a smaller scale, it doesn't seem fair that they should go on the tour when there are some good active guys who'd bring something to the table in terms of discussion etc are being left out. Would make for a much more interesting and worthwhile tour IMO
Nah, it's picked on skill not activity... Why should a lesser player be rewarded because he posts more?
LOL, could say the same to you. There's a difference between having someone who doesn't come on much and someone who almost exclusively comes on to sign a contract though. Why should they get to represent Cricsim when they take no part in it?
I wouldn't pick Hayes and it's got nothing to do with the person. He's been in decline the past 3 seasons. Only averaged low 40's the last 2. Lewis, Downpipes and Parker have all done better than him in their careers in origin and Lewis and Downpipes in particular have had good seasons the last few. I'd run with a squad of: 1. dg speirs 2. a vago 3. BJT manera 4. bj gemmell 5. rst downpipes 6. dw lewis 7. jb dempsey 8. l tyson 9. sb wilson 10. tg bullpitt 11. c man 12. aj parker 13. ap farnsworth 14. gec king 15. tjl webber
In the test scenario CricSim is a nation, if we didnt pick them we wouldnt be picking the best team. End of.
I know that I won't make it. Wilson's far and away the best spinner and there's no need for two with Speirs there unless playing on uber spin decks.
Hayes ahead of Parker IMO, he's averaged the same as him this season and better for the last 3 IIRC And Hayes has had a better PC so far.
