With no true C, only 2 PF's and no bigs to rotate with it'd be far, far too easy for opposition big men to back down in the post imo.
I dont think so. Tart is a star. Claing, doog and morgan are all starters and prwtty decent for club teams
Centre isnt a true position anymore it is interchangeable with pf. Lack of big depth is concerning but they could still compete
Just struck me when I saw Mousey talking about the North and South teams. Well I just assumed every other province would be able to field a side reasonably comfortably. The Celts sometimes field a provincial team on this site and sometimes don't, and if they don't then their players become available for other sides. So if it's going to happen then we need to figure out who their players are available for first.
Yeah you could. Even worst case scenario you could play a 4 guard set or something and play small ball. Some people get really caught up in the whole position thing, but basketball positions are almost an invented concept.
What I said to Cribb: It's something I was considering thinking of doing at the end of this season (I think Jabba asked me about it) but I wasn't sure how interest would be. Now that I'm regularly simming it might be a good idea to bring this in at the end of the season. Could even help get those sitting on the bench more interested if they get increased roles in provincial basketball.
You might get a few more registrations as well, especially if a province is struggling for a certain position or something (as irrelevant as positions are >_>.) Asia and Victoria for example chased up a heap of blokes to sign up for Seasonal Rugby who wouldn't have normally bothered because they needed players.
Asia Karwin Rogers - C Zohaib Ikram - SF Jono Chewie - C Aye Eff (Farhat) - PG Paul Tazewell (Chung) - PG Ishan Narang - C MU Amir - PF Yoki - PG Leumas Himann - C SSD Dong - PG Bibu Immanuel - C Amiya Shreyasa - SF CJ Evans - SG N Gurupur - PF Truman Lee - PG Carlson Ochocinco - PG Anamul Haque - PF AR Dforum - SF Asia have heaps of players lol
Yeah true, that's a good point actually. As long as all provinces have a point guard and a big man I'm happy enough for them to compete. @ Cribb
