Players who have impressed you

    As the title says. Only 4 and a bit rounds in but there are always a few players who are really impressive early in the year and turn a few heads. Could be a breakout player, a rookie or just someone continuing to play great ...

    Before the season I argued with a Manly fan who thought that Lawrence was going to hold a spot in the team - turns out he was right. He has been really surprising (and impressive) so far. Possesses really good speed before the line, makes good metres on each run and threatens with that late offload.

    Bombing that try against the Tigers has been the only blot on his copybook so far.

    Has been a good player for a while now but has stepped up so far this season. Last year he got 130+ metres, 30+ tackles a game and plenty of offloads but I thought he looked a bit unfit/carrying a niggling injury for most of 2012. He got through a tonne of work but his speed and mobility were lacking. I think he has stepped up a notch so far and has been a bright spot in a dismal Dragons outfit.

    Lawrence is such a stud. Huge guy, does the basics right, reliable. Hope he gets a good career going at Manly, even though I hate those cunts.

    Aiden Sezer for me. Cunt doesn't look like he's second year, heaps of composure and skills

    Winterstein.

    I wrote him off as a shunt years ago. He was been one of the few Cows players that has played well in each game this season. He has definitely improved on his defence and hands under the high ball.

    David Williams has been far better for Manly tbh.

    Received undeserved Test and SOO caps a few years ago, however he is actually one of the best wingers around now. Can finish off plays, saves tries and has a knack of always being in the right place at the right time, which imo is testament to him hanging off every play.

    Merrin ...yeah. Used to call him a fat cunt who couldn't play, but it appears as though I was wrong, he can play

    and has lost weight.

    As a kid he was a fat cunt......

    Who else......Albert Kelly has been mentioned. Corey Norman from R1 onwards, Josh Hoffman on the wing.

    DCE has filled out and is physically stronger ...playing better for it.

    SBW ....I like the subtleness of his return. You get the feeling that he is warming up to bigger and better things.

    I can't really go past Inglis though in the WOW !! stakes. We all know what a talented player he is but they way he has been so totally dominant this year is fantastic. The cunts huge !! Fast !!! Hands like a basket baller....like Jordan !! Gotta be close to the games most valuable player at the moment.....
