technique for Defence.
Interesting idea. Would be easy to code in as well. The only problem I have with it is that I'd have no idea what to set the values at for real-life players. It's not an aspect of the game I really analyse on a player-by-player basis.
Under "defensive skills" where it says "positioning" ... yeah that.
Lol, swear it wasnt there :ninja:
So you pretty much got it covered.
scrum technique :troll:
haha, that troll sign makes me laugh.
Would only really take a little bit of research IMO. Its an attribute that would help bring realism to games. You can generalise for some players. Some teams are just generally better than others. e.g Storm, Dragons etc are very good at slowing it down. But it would be very good to have for an RL Sim for players to give their front rowers good skills would be essential especially for tight, middle third of the field players
Preferred side of the field could be useful.
What about diving:
Tonie Sims stat for smashing cunts?
IMO you should have 3 thirds of field and all players should have certain attributes for each third. e.g Front rowers, and most locks would be god at playing the tight middle third and you would have a left and right edge, being versatile to play left and right would be a skill and some players would be only able to play one side etc.
Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking. Locks and props already play middle third and second rowers play on the fringes. If I add in a preferred side attribute though I can punish players slightly for playing the wrong side (unless they're locks, props, fullbacks or hookers obv).
Yeah that's ballplaying basically. It was actually called creativity originally but I re-named it. It's the ability to put someone into a hole or throw a cut-out to expose an overlap.
Separate names with a comma.
