Jäger WAG! Satisfied with my own junk wickets in the first innings. Less than 2 an over for 30 overs deserves some reward.
Jager WAG. Couldn't happen to a nicer bloke. On an individual level, my (lack of) form is a real concern. The top 6 are all getting at least one start, but nobody is going on with them, while numbers 7 through 11 provide little support when someone is in a position to go big (except Jacobs in the first dig).
Just ftr, Kovas bats 9 or something in ALC. I'm taking the piss by making him open a bit, so when he gets a start but doesn't go on with it, I'm quite satisfied that he's done his job. As long as he takes wickets. But that just gives your point about the lower order more weight though; our eighth best batsman is opening so #7 and #8 should be contributing where they are.
