Bullshit he took his legs out from underneath him. Gordon was going for the ball and only had eyes for the ball. There was another dubious call but I can't remember which one it was which lead to a try. I am normally easy going on the refs and normally say that it was the players but that was disgraceful. How about the blatant Jennings rake to slow down the play the ball that was borderline professional foul? Or what about giving a random penalty while Canberra were on attack because Monaghan mouthed off. Led directly to a try.
You had a bitch about the kicking out during scoring tries, now you change your mind? It's been a penalty many times before, they missed a couple in recent weeks, but the rule is there. Monaghan mouthed off at the ref, their is also a rule against that. The tackle was dominant and he's allowed to hold on longer for it.
If it is an 8 point try each time from now on I am happy with it. But I can guarantee if Slater or Hayne do it it won't even be a penalty.
Agreed. Lack of Walsh was probably the main one. We did alright with Coote but I would like him back now. Purtell needs to go. Elliot won't drop him though because it is too close to the finals.
