Only one (injury forced) change for the Warriors with Thompson coming off the bench to start with Henry probably out for the season. Luke needs a big game. He was average in the Tigers game. Roache sparked things when he came on so.
Luke will take time I reckon he's not as talented as media like to make out, he needs a team which utilises constant quick play the ball rolling play to carve up and the Warriors are inclined to break that up with more adlib sideways place which shouldn't be their go they shouldnt have gone near Robson and played a structure which used Luke as the primary distributor kept Johnson as a pseudo 7 and brought in another playmaking 6 style half and punched some big men through and then played expansive ball with RTS lurking for an inside ball once the defence begins sliding too hard under fatigue
When Leuluai is fit they should put him with Johnson and double team dummy half with Luke. i honestly think they're a good solid player or 2 short of threatening.
I'll go along with that. Reckon teenager Roache is an outstanding prospect too. Old cliché but it was such a game of two halves in that first round. They just need to start better and play like they did in the second half for 80 min. (Easier said than done) Faitala-Mariner gets a run off the bench this game too. He's a good all round player who can hopefully he can sure up the defence a bit and provide some go forward and opportunities running wide.
