Of course it is bullshit that no players knew. I love that Gallop actually publicly stated that players not knowing was bullshit. They ****ing signed two contracts ffs, of course they ****ing knew.

The best part of this is that the Storm are going to get ****ed in the asshole when they have to let all these players go next year who will be signed for far less money and the Storm have to pay out the leftovers. Goodbye Storm you cheating ****s.

 

I imagined they signed both contracts at the same time. I'd also imagine a standard single contract would have numerous sections that each require a signature, so the players could definitely believe they were just signing the one contract when they were actually signing two, IMO.

I reckon the players knew, but possibly thought the cheating was only equivalent to what was happening at the other clubs, but the fact their signature appears on two contracts means nought, AFAIC.
