Afternoon guys Interested to see how this game works but, having registered in the forum, I am unable to do anything on http://cricsim.com/site/index.php. All I end up with is an error message when I try and do anything: Not Found The requested URL /site/function.mysql-connect was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Anyone able to shed any light or help out? Cheers TC
We recently changed servers (not by choice - and in fact we lost all our previous forum posts in the process) and we haven't fixed up all the files and data on the statistics site yet. It'll be working within the next couple of days. You joined at a ridiculously bad time, basically.
We've actually lost our FAQ as well, annoyingly enough. Essentially though, you register as a player and join one of the teams. Five-day and one-day cricket games are simulated regularly between the clubs. As you play more games and make more posts on the forum, you get better as a player and move up the ranks from your club's Second XI to their First XI. There is are also representative competitions. We actually don't even have a player registration thread around at the moment though, ha.
