    No it didn't work out perfectly. By having open bidding and starting it so that it finished at 2 in the arvo, it fucked over anyone that actually has to work. This comp just lost all credibility. Fucked me in the arse.

    Just admit that this whole competition - the structure you ran with, having it show how many bids, ending it at 2pm - was all jsut a massive dirty great abortion.

    The reason behind ending it at 2 pm was simply so that we could get in an extra bidding period so bids end in time on Friday. Even if you aren't here to bid again, I am sure you can find a player or two who has been bid on already that could have started before 4pm today and therefore will still get an entire squad in time if you can outbid whoever placed the original one.

    In regards to the draft, will I do it again next year? No probably not. Do I regret doing it? Nope it may not have gone very smooth but it was worth the try, something different. Once we start the season people will get over it and start getting into what really matters, winning.

    I really couldn't care less about my number of player situation. It's the fact that having bidding open meant that it was crucial that you are on at the end of the period. Ending it at 2pm just meant that it crueled a number of teams. I'd prefer to forego round 1 and have an even comp than have rd 1 and fuck at least a few teams.

    Wrong.

    We could have ended this tonight at 8. And then bidded after it. I am sure it would have ended at 8pm and not 4pm the next day.

    Anyway, I won't be on before the cut off for rd 1 teams tomorrow. Could someone trade me a five eighth and another player, for one of my players, and then I'll just trade you them back on Monday.

    Obviously it'd be preferable if they weren't players that will play on the weekend so that i don't get any advantage from it.
