Which method do you prefer?

  1. Draft system

    14.3%
  2. Bidding (same as previous years)

    85.7%

I thought they both had. :p

Well in a way they did - Hunter choked in the GF to you.

I hope Roaddogg gets his net back in time as well.

  3. Farhat AM Farhat

    Cribb choked the most.

  4. Cribbage RG Cribb

Yeah, I managed to choke the minor premiership as well despite scoring the most points. Dire.

  5. Frizzed WC Welker

    Negative.

He was always going to lose. :p

I like the old school bidding process, but whatever everyone is keen for.

  7. Cribbage RG Cribb

    Hunter to reply.

I closed the poll. I have decided it will be a 10 player draft followed by bidding. No goal kicker will be allowed to be drafted.

The time of the draft I will figure out later tonight but if anyone has any specific requests in terms of preferable times that they will be able to be online to bid then now would be the time to say something (manero).

So were having a draft for the first 10 players each? hmmm

  12. Farhat AM Farhat

Bidding to finish on any day after 7:30pm. 9pm if on Tuesday or Thursday.

What is the time limit for when it's your pick?

  14. GYR DW Lewis

There will be one set time. If it happens that you can't make it for your pick and you know you will not in advance then you can either a) leave it be and make your pick when you get online but others will have already taken their picks once the time is up or b) send me your desired pick in advance and I am able to pick for you.

It can be anywhere from 2 minutes to 6 hours. Not too sure how long people should have to pick. I definitely won't be giving them 6 hours to pick but maybe an hour or two.

I was referring to the bidding of the remaining 15 players.

Fark. 2 minutes would be intense.

Oh right I just assumed that you were talking about the draft as you should know that the bidding start and end time is dependent on when the first bid is put on the player.

How would it work if it was one or two hours for picks. Would that mean it would just continue constantly into like 3 in the morning?

No there is a picking limit and drafting period limit.

So say that I set the period that the draft is on to 7pm-12am. So between 7pm and 12 am the draft is open. If the pick limit is 3 hours then as soon as a person's turn starts then they have 3 hours to make the pick. Once it hits 12 am then no more picks can be made. I assume the time limit continues over to the next day.
