The thing is with this IMO is that if the better players are going to be loyal enough to sign a multiple season contract then they will likely be loyal enough to just stay and sign a new contract each season. All i can see is inactive people clogging up squads.
In fairness, ignoring whether this is the way to do it or not, I really would like to see some more continuity within the teams. Otherwise you get into this cycle we're in now, of the best players constantly shifting between clubs as a group, and teams lose their identity.
Well, blame the lot that do it. So basically, Jemmell, Davis, Tyson. They'll have played for four different clubs together in 9 seasons, next season.
3, IMO. Crusaders, Cyclones & Gamblers. Tyson never played for the Stickies, and Danno never played for the Redhacks.
Are you sure that Danno didn't play for the Redbacks. The point still stands, it's actually 3 clubs that all three have been at together in the space of 5 seasons.
Hmm, Ravens to be strong again. They've gained at least 2 players, and AFAIK they haven't lost anyone.
****ing brutal. Man this will by my 3rd club in 9 seasons, the Gamblers. I hope to make it the same for season 10, stick around for a few seasons.
Won't happen for season 9 + 10. It's cribb afterall. I don't know I would sign a 2 season contract in all honesty. Just for the fact that I might get over the club, the sub-forum is more important for me than success and individual performances, if that was to die for some reason, like at the Allstars when some of the senior members left..... well you know the rest.
Yeah, fair enough. Like the idea, but as you said, if you get over the club, your stuck there no matter what.
