So I had about 2200 in my centrebet account and worked my way down to 500. Being pretty saddened about this although somewhat still content considering I started with 100 and pulled out 1500 along the way I was still pretty depressed and realised that my erratic betting on sports events I knew little about was costing me cash money and led me to my latest epiphany.

Why not just bet on the sports you know? Considering I watch nearly every league game and constantly follow the sport off the field I thought I'd start with this 500 and bet 'smartly' every week.

Step 1: Withdrew 500
Step 2: Opened up an account with Luxbet
Step 3: Deposited 500 and received a bonus $300 bet in the process

So to track my progress, keep me on track and motivated I thought I'd start a thread and review it at the end of season to see how I've gone.

Here's how it will work, each will I will bet $400
7 games x $50 (I will not bet on the game my team plays in; Roosters)
$20 worth of exotics (first try scorers, first scoring player etc.)
2x $15 multis (one with the lines, one with just head to head)

If I ever go under $400 I will obviously need to readjust those figures but lets hope that doesn't happen.

In the following days I hope to post up a poll with options of what to lay my bonus $300 bet on. Cricsim will decide.

 

Week 1

Due to the lack of NRL we will be placing 3 bets on the following games...

Despite the creativity injected into the New Zealand side since the 4nations (SKD & Johnson) I think Kearney will back himself and try to play a reserved game up the middle. New Zealand are capable of an upset but history shows Australia will win and win comfortably.

$50 on Australia -8 Vs the New Zealanders @ 1.92

It's hard to go past Country but I have no faith in them to do it comfortably because they are perennial under achievers.

$50 on Country Vs the City Siders @ 1.50

NSW will be way too good in the Under 20's, Kane Evans is better than QLD's whole forward pack combined and I can't see anyone tackling Cummins. Despite the fact NSW have selected a 5/8 at halfback and a halfback at 5/8 and made a couple of absolute blunders in the selection room they'll run this out easy in the end.

First time I've ever taken a line without the .5 decimal, well the first time it's become relevant enough for me to notice. Stressed a bit but LuxBet have given my money back.

Missed the big 6 @ Sydney by one race and can't even win one single bet in my league account. No need to worry though lads my bonus $300 bet will be used this week so we'll be back in business in no time.

 

Yeah mate. Not regretting it. I'm actually just starting a week of RnR after 7 weeks there. Earning about 3k a week so well worth it. Getting taxed like nobody's business though, hey.
