There's a Samsung (Aussie model) in Harvey Asswipe 32 inch LCD for $386 if your local store still has some leftover from the boxing day sale. Only con is there's only one HDMI and you can't plug a USB in and play movies. I have a Samsung 32 inch LCD but it has 2 HDMI's, better sound and you can watch downloads from a USB.
http://www.cnet.com.au/how-to-upgrade-your-playstation-3-hard-drive-339282375.htm Pretty straight forward. Roughly you're probably looking at $100 for 500gb... or $30-40 for 250gb
Yes it can. I replaced my 60gb with a 250gb hard drive last weekend. You just need to back the data up and format the drive correctly and then transfer it over.
Can any old hard drive work, or does it have to be formatted to xbox specific shizz? Got my 360. Been playing some Deus Ex. Gorgeous graphics on these things, even with a crappy CRT tv.
Think you can use memory sticks in a USB port, but for hard drives, they have to be xbox specific jobbies.
Yea, it has to be an Xbox hard drive. It's almost $150 for a 250gb one. In hindsight, I should've bought the Kinect bundle instead of the 4GB pack.
True, but I never buy electronics from Trademe. I'm always paranoid that something will go wrong and then I'd be stuffed. Besides, nothing beats something that's brand new.
Another good reason to buy a PS3. You can use any ol' hard drive. You just have to format it correctly, which is easy enough. Sucks to be Xbox owners
Yea, gaming on a PC is always better. Not so good when it comes to games which are console exclusive.
decent gaming PCs cost way too much, even if you build it yourself. I'm not a big enough gamer to bother with one.
