    I thought I'd start this thread early because it's a big game - many are tipping it as an early grand final preview - so I wanted to get some discussion in before it started.

    Big blow for the Rays in their game against the Gamblers next round too - best two bowlers rubbed out.

    Looking forward to this game so much. You never know how these things are gonna turn out. There batting as a team is immense, but our bowling is..so really our batting and there bowling will probably end up deciding the game.

    Will this be live at the usual time i.e somewhere between 8am 10am U.K time or are you bringing it forward a little bit earlier. I am not asking for an exact time....just really want to make sure I don't miss the start that's all.

    Both teams have a big strength in their balance - they both bat really deep and have five frontline bowlers. Borisc is probably slightly less of a bowler than Devonshire but Weaver's definitely more of one than Storer so it evens itself out there. The lower order of both teams could be really difficult to remove.

    I think the Vipers have this one in the batting, but the Rays bowling is obviously better. I tipped the Rays mainly because they were at home, no other reason really. Reckon it'll be a cracker; I actually can't wait to sim it which is pretty sad. :p I don't want to spoil any pre-match stuff I'll post in here though so I've decided not to sim it in advance.

    Thanks for that mate. On holiday from work Monday, and got plenty of time on Monday morning....Also sad, but I can't wait for this. Looking forward to the pre-match banter now.

    Just realised it's at the Gamblers home ground too, which is a dustbowl square turner. The Rays don't have any more specialist spinners - the next best spinner after Ged is either %C Golding or %JM Hughes; one of those guys will have to play given the pitch conditions. Gamblers favourites for that one now IMO.
