Was just thinking about the current discussion in the Sharks vs 'Canes match thread and how a non-live sim would be fine if it meant some simmage before Heath goes on Holidays. I remember Heath also mentioning that it took him something like 2 hours to do a live sim of the 'Canes first game. I was wondering what you guys think about this? Would you be happy for a non-live sim of the regular season and save the live sim for finals and rep or something similar? Tbh, if it meant more simmage I would be more than happy for it.
Yeah i agree, something like how the alc games were played last year. just show each half scores with a 5 minute post between them: post one of the half stats wait five minutes till more people seen it and commented post the second half stats Yes i also agree live simmage should be done for the important matches.
Yeah. If it means there will be more simmage on a more frequent basis, why not. You could post just the plays that lead to a try or something like that, a half time report, allow people to comment, then start the second half. Could work imo.
This, someone to get cribb to read. remember how in season 9 there used to be like 2-3 alcs games a night and a couple of bs games. im not really into live matches, and its also known as a time waster.
Yeah, but Heath said that writing up the commentary is the problem. Obviously you would have the sim the match in full to get the stats.
I don't mind having a non-live game before Heef goes on holiday. But in answer to the poll question i would want some live simming otherwise just having stats is pretty dull.
AW everything said pretty much. Anything that makes it easier to do, so it doesn't become a massive hassle for heath
