Out watching District 9 with the missus tonight. Will start a new thread in the Spartans subbie in way of compensating for my absence.
I've heard good things. I suspect my missus will hate it though. She hates any film science fiction/war/western/vaguely exciting.
Fail, I'm afraid. She hates the "KP" accent. She also hates my impression of Tony Greig. That certainly doesn't make her horny. In fact, overuse thereof can end up with me banished to the sofa for the night.
The audience have arrived and the players are almost ready. The signals from the referee is that the game will start in approx 40 minutes.
The players are out onto the pitch. Both teams running drills on a soggy wet pitch. The referee is inspecting the pitch and has said that the game will start in approx 10 minutes. The Seasonal Rugby Stadium is packed, and it has a capacity of 100,000. Rumours have it that there are at least 115,000 people packed into the stadium at the moment, including VIP seats for the Vikings after their semi-final exit.
Apparently the whole Spartans squad shit their pants at the sight of the Giants, so the start has been delayed by 10 minutes.
Welcome to the Seasonal Rugby Stadium For this game between Giants and Spartans The calm wind will not help the kickers
