Does that game ****ing prove anything to you? Or are you going to stick with your ****ing blind loyalty?

You take Ropati and Moon off (and cloud Moon's replacement as an injury, bullshit the bloke should have been hooked straight after when he kicked on the 2nd ****ING tackle with 2 minutes to go with nothing on) at halftime, and ... lo and behold, we see some ****ing structure, depth and width in our attack.

List of Vulcans for the Rest of the Season

Lillyman - no attack, nothing. Cowboys were not disappointed to lose this bloke. The most overrated player to ever play State of Origin, even more luckier than Adrian Brunker, and the only club who fell for the myth hook line and ****ing sinker was the Warriors. Yet the club apparently doesn't have money to keep Tuimavave and Ah Mau. Suck my ... well you know what on that decision.

Moon - no direction, no idea. When the game becomes more structured at NRL level he just doesn't cut the mustard. Notice the difference in the second half? Our backs got front foot ball with space.

Ropati - Hideous handling, poor defence. His defence as a centre is the worst in the league. In the second half, our edges were firm as concrete.

Kemp - The one who doesn't want to mess his hair up can stay down there. Locke has more enthusiasm, intent, and idea about where to be on a football field in one of his pubes than Kemp has in his entire body. And to think, the coach honestly thought you could do a tenable kicking job ahead of Michael Witt!!!!!!!! You couldn't kick the snot out of a lethargic welfare dog.

A big F.U to the Warriors selections for this year. I have never, ever been so pissed off with a football club in my entire life. You have blokes elsewhere who would bust their ass for a chance in this team, yet you bring in drifters like Lillyman, Rovelli et al. And we find ourselves in a position where Ah Mau and Tuimavave are being sent elsewhere. Seriously, you can shove it on that selection policy.

If Ivan Cleary warrants a thread, Sheens deserves a sub-forum.

Agree with everything you said Damo, hopefully he has a cricsim account.

Lillyman has done shitall since he left the Cowboys, he really didnt do that much in 2008 either tbh, Im glad now we let him go but feel sorry the Warriors got nothing out of signing the ****.

  5. Ged GEC King

Yeah, it had nothing to do with going from running into a strong breeze to running with it......And as for Moon, the headknock could explain why he kicked it on the 2nd tackle...

  6. kingdamo DRP Taylor

LOL, the head knock was an obvious excuse to get him off. He has been playing poorly all season and has had half a season to prove himself and what has he shown for it? Sweet **** all..

  7. Cribbage RG Cribb

Disagree with all of that barring Lillyman.

The difference between having a poor season and a shocking season is whether or not you panic when you're playing poorly and drop half the team. Heremaia is not Henderson's arsehole, for example. Hell, he's not Fien's arsehole either.

Poor performances do not equate to having selected the wrong team. Often it's the best available and changing it just makes things worse. The problem isn't the personnel.

Lies. Kemp proved that he can be very effective in Brisbane, and IMO he could be the next Slater if he gets given a fullback role somewhere (note, I hate Slater, but we can all admit he is a great player). I don't think he's enjoying NZ much, he never wanted to leave Brisbane. Hopefully if Hunt leaves we get him back.

  10. Billy B Olsen

Tbph Alec you can have him back. He's an over rated hump. I agree with everything damo has posted. I'm sick of getting the Qld rejects. It's about time we nutured the players we breed over the shit ****s we buy.

  11. kingdamo DRP Taylor

You seriously believe Moon is a future five-eighth? In half a season what have we got from him.. We know he can kick bloody far.... right in to the fullbacks arms. He can defend well and he is a great ball runner <--- Key attributes for a centre.

Henderson is out because of his father passing away, hopefully he is back soon. Heremaia's passing out of dummy half was slow and laboured, he played pretty well at five-eighth though. He knew how to put people in to holes which I haven't seen Moon do for all the time he has had there.

And how can you disagree with me on Ropati? Seriously..

  12. Billy B Olsen

    Hohaia > 5/8
    Moon > Centre
    Ropati > England.

  13. Cribbage RG Cribb

Henderson played for the Vulcans this weekend. Should not have happened. If he needed the week off then fine, but what was playing reserve grade going to accomplish? And how on earth is Heremaia a better hooker than Fien in any case?

No-one had said anything about Ropati until he had an admittedly terrible game today. But regardless of how he's gone this season, he's a first grade standard centre. A bit above that even, IMO. A below average six weeks followed by a shocker doesn't change that - his career has spanned a lot more than the last seven weeks.

You're not going to accomplish anything by playing your best players in reserve grade just because they are "out of form".

  14. Billy B Olsen

That's bullshit I've bagged him repeatedly over the years. He has 2 good games then 10 shit ones.

  15. kingdamo DRP Taylor

    Hendo should be back hopefully.

    I disagree on Ropati though.

His defence at centre is average at best; he rushes out of the line and is constantly putting pressure on his winger and making him look like an outright dick. He hasn't just been doing it lately as well, he has been doing it for the past few seasons. The game against the Broncos was a prime example, he got beaten a few times and we ended up getting thrashed. I do not mind Ropati's attacking game as such but when he is constantly dropping balls every game it makes me wonder how he is even a NRL standard centre with ball handling skills like that.

  16. Cribbage RG Cribb

I've seen Ah Van and Kirk play centre this season. You are not in a position to drop Ropati.

  17. kingdamo DRP Taylor

Did you see Lewis Brown play in the centres today? Was outstanding in defence and after 20 minutes the Sharks stopped going down his side of the field. Compared to when Ropati was on the field where they were constantly attacking does his side knowing that eventually he would crack, and of course, he did.

  18. kingdamo DRP Taylor

Turns out I was wrong about Moon, he suffered a serious head knock in the first 10 minutes of the game and probably should have been pulled a lot earlier. Could explain his stupidity at the time.

Jerome Ropati also has an ankle injury so this could be a blessing in disguise with a new centre or Mannering playing there. I would prefer a centre like Siatonga or even Likiliki from the U20's but wouldn't mind Lewis Brown playing there either.

The Warriors are ****ed this season..

All comes back to Stacy Jones. This has-been strolls out of retirement, and automatically gets selected as 7. ****ing bullshit.

He is killing the warriors this season, and will kill them for a long time after that. No direction, piss poor defense, and no where near good enough.

Fein needed to be handed the 7 jersey and told to make it his own. Instead he got ushered out of the club for a ****wit who should stick to running subway.

Moon has been fairly rubbish this season, but in saying that, he's had a zillion different guys playing around him, and he's been put under bigtime pressure.

Ropati is shit, and always has been. As bad as Manu's hands have been in the past, Ropati's have been consistantly shit.

The way i'd see it, Moon ---> Centre, Hohia --> Stand off, Fein ---> 7, Jones ---> Bench. Get hendersen the **** back in there, keep mannering in the centres.

Warriors to finish 12th at best, you've been exposed for having shit halves, and whatever you do, you'll have to boogy up something until the end of the season, and sort crap out.

    Jones, worst signing ever.....

  20. kingdamo DRP Taylor

Jones played alright yesterday, but we should have stuck with the winning combination we had at the start of the year.

    6. Moon
    7. Fien

    IMO.

But now that Moon has had so many different people playing outside him and not enough time to develop combinations heresay he appears to have lost the confidence he had in his game at the start of the season. I like him as a player but he just isn't delivering.
