Probably the opposite of our game against the Bears - fairly strong performance (although poor d'), but couldn't find the result. I reckon we did really well to stay in touching distance in the 4th with the forced lineup. Wanted to create mismatches with Weaver on me so O'Driscoll and Himann would be guarded by the Mo's 3 and 4 but that was difficult after O'Driscoll fouled out. Looks like Himann capitalised on his time at the 4 though as he gobbled up the boards. Happy with Cambridge's performance whilst on but we're always going to struggle down the strech when our go-to 4th quarter player has fouled out. Excellent from Dyer in particular though and he gets himself the 3 MVP votes as well as the franchise points record. Himann and Cambridge split the 1. Hurricanes MVP points: 3 - Chad Dyer 2 - LeBron Ames 0.5 - Steve Cambridge 0.5 - Leumas Himann
Good win kids, dodgy 1st Quarter, but we pulled it out in the end. Will probably want to start looking a little more convincing in the early stages...
Just as an aside and not as if it matters but I would have gotten the 3 if i had one less foul i'd say so I reckon that extra half point should be mine too :ninja:

Much better performance, after a difficult start. Every starter played well, Himann and Dyer the standouts but Cambridge and Ames really swelled into the game and looked excellent on d' with 11 steals between them. Fung with a very handy performance too. Hurricanes MVP points: 3 - Leumas Himann 2 - Chad Dyer 1 - Steve Cambridge
Why are there so many talented bigs in this league. Himann and yourself appear to have established a solid partnership and are both on the cusp of the top tier bigs IMO
Yeah, I think Himann needs more consistency but he's certainly got the potential. Well on the right track. RE: myself, reckon I'm a star of the league now, a tier below proper MVP candidates like Downes, Welker, Son, but I'd be the face of most franchises. Btw Mousey was Dyer awesome on defense or something? Statline not overly impressive.
Don't think Welker will get enough points to get near MVP this season unfortunately. He's very much in the same boat as you Star player on a team with plenty of people who could take the points off him on any given night.
Well yeah I doubt he'll actually win MVP but I think he'd be very much in the conversation if it were decided in a different way.
Is there a maximum you can improve on one training focus, or do you just continue to improve indefinitely?
Well it's great to see I'm settling in at SG after the iffy pre-season showing. Hopefully I can keep this up throughout the season. We must have the best backcourt so far this season.
Well obviously you can't improve indefinitely. But to improve you must train, and training is posting. So if you keep training with a focus on an area you'd improve that.

Yeah, you're really stepping up. Great to see. Meanwhile, Cambridge is by far the best handler in the league IMO. Ass/TO Ratio of ~5.5.
Yeah really got the ball under control this season, was a bit shaky at times last season but I have pulled it together.
