You have signed Justin Carney; he'll play wing.

  2. Jakester A Pimpkins

WTF happened to us getting Dugan? I was told he was on side for 2011.

  3. Cribbage RG Cribb

    No.

  4. Alec AD Funkotron

Typical Roosters - Sign everyone, forget affiliated feeder teams.

  5. Toolman TR Man

Leilua is a great player he just obviously isn't a winger... he's brilliant attacking the high ball though.

  6. Cribbage RG Cribb

Well that's taking it a bit far. Wally Lewis is a great player. Leilua is a promising young player.

  7. Magic AJ Parker

Yeh Leilua is a backrower who can play a bit at centre and was put out onto the wing when we had a an injury crisis. Was a pretty crazy move in the Grand Final but no one really knows how serious Graham's injury was.

Graham will play on the wing next season.

Leilua is just really shit. Probably worse then Tautai, tbh.

I'm getting a sinking feeling that Graham will play reserve grade next year, with the signing of Justin Carney. Graham is a much better player than Carney IMO, and Carney's more of a centre than a winger too, but I think Carney's a better winger than Graham.

I'm kind of the belief though that having two short ****s on the wing wont last long even if it does happen in the opening rounds. For all his negatives under the high ball Graham usually defuses it even if it doesn't result in us getting the ball back.

Yeah even though I seriously wanted to just go home, I got pressured into going and although I was just sitting there for the first 2 hours devo and getting drunk, while everyone was happy, drinking, dancing, singing along which kind of pissed me off, I am actually very glad I went. The reaction that the players got was extraordinary and put a smile to my face, I think pearce summed the reaction up when he said "Well we are obviously gutted but with the reaction we have just gotten from you guys, it's like we won".

Poor form for those supporters cheering, dancing and singing after the performance you put up last night. Fair enough to be supportive but to cheer and shit after being humiliated is piss poor.

  13. GYR DW Lewis

Not really. While I was pissed off at them, they were not mad at the players because of what they have achieved this year, which tbh is pretty amazing.

  14. Wilson SB Wilson

Nah, isn't that amazing. They make it seem amazing because you went from last to runners up, but you didn't have a bad squad last year - definitely not wooden spooners or close to it. You just had a idiot coach who made genius selections like Anasta at fullback. You recruited well for this season, coach included and you played like you should.

It was a lotto out of the top 8 teams this season (apart from St George, and the shit**** Sea Eagles cause they weren't ever going to make it) who was going to make the grand final. So while it was good you made the grand final, it's not an amazing achievement.

In other words you wouldn't know because you have only experienced going from wooden spooners to wooden spooners yeah?

  16. Wilson SB Wilson

Couldn't even tell you the last time we won the spoon champ.

  17. Cribbage RG Cribb

Yeah, such epic chokers that you can't even win that when you deserve it.

Nope, the Roosters did. Go figure.

Yeh pissed me off a little too that everyone seemed more happy about our future than pissed off about the present, something I expected in a week not straight away.

Did Kennedy say anything about possibly re-signing? Still can't find anything on him...

Nah he didn't want to say anything the players pressured him to say something on the mic and pushed him forward and he just paused for 10 seconds then asked Luke (the guy doing the interviewing) what to say and then leaned forward and just said "Go the roosters" haha. I have no doubt that he would want to stay. He is an actual roosters fan but it would be up to the club to offer him something. I am sure we aren't going to let him go.
