Adele sounds like a castrated poodle when she tries to hit high notes, and she sounds drunk when otherwise. Her voice is strong and different, which is why she has had the success she has had, but she isn't an amazing singer in terms of technique, execution etc.

I really don't get the big deal tbh. I mean, she's decent, but I don't get it. Although I'm really not a fan of female singers so I may be biased.
I'm not an avid adele fan (although the Jamie XX remix is gun) but I do like female voices more than males' voices in general.
With the exception of Goodbye My Lover and You're Beautiful which are both equally horrendous, James Blunt's first album is a fucking masterpiece.
