Not sure TBH. I would probably take Whicker and Zaka over Blunder and Ridd. IMO I am a better bowler than Nova too. Farny is far better than Doog yeah but its not miles apart I dont think.
Well I guess you could look at that way. The other (correct) way of looking at it, though, is that you haven't really proven yourself given how few games you've played. Two good seasons in reserve grade and a bit of handy BS experience > half a good season in reserve grade.
I supose I could look at it that way, just scoring as many 50's and 100's as someone in a season and playing 4 less matches in it sort of shouts at me to say something. Supose I could never really seriously expect to get in a GB squad before a full season
TBH you cant really expect to play for GB without First Class experience either. The only position we would really consider bringing someone in from ALC for is a spinner.
Might be worth resting Graham from this so both potential backup keepers can play. I don't think there's much between Morris and Laing at all (in fact I'd probably rate Morris slightly ahead despite his lack of cricket) and this game would give you a way to pick between them.
I don't really see the point of that TBH. Even if Verigotta did well in this game he wouldn't/shouldn't make the 15 man squad due to his inexperience, so you might as well play Luffers as to increase the standard of the batsmen the bowlers get to have a crack at.
