    For those who arent dragons fans..

    Merrin did good when he was on, and Youngy did what the coach would of asked him to do in the opening 20 or so.

    Gaz and Morris were quiet and Soward did some good things but was off his game most of the night. Creagh isnt a bench player so was really a waste of selection.

    Did Boyd even touch the ball for QLD?

    Yeah, dno what he was thinking when Yow Yeh scored.. Not sure if he told Dugan to take the ball as he was trying to sheppard the man off it or if he just mis read it.

    Really unlike him though.

    Agreed, I would love to see Sammy in a real scuffle so he will either put up or shut up and stop being the 3rd cunt in every affray. But I could probably do what Scott is doing to him. Scott has both of his arms inside his and 5 team-mates surrounding him.

    Obviously. No-one would say he is the best backrower, however I can confidently he'd be very close to being the 2nd best in the NRL, to Gallen.

    I actually thought we did lose something when Scott and Petero were off. Ben Ross's bench efforts were better than Hannant's for example.

    Smith made 40 tackles and set up a try. As well as making superb metres. He also played 80 minutes as opposed to Hannant's 33. Smith was definitely better than Hannant. I get what you're saying though - For what he was able to do (which isn't as much as what an 80 minute starter could) he was very good. But again, that's why I have Cronk and Parker on 6.5 - They simply didn't contribute as much, though certainly not because they were at fault or anything.

    Nielsen and Yow Yeh were carved up every time NSW attacked their side. They're just lucky that NSW were poor in attack and didn't score. Parker played the last 20 minutes when all the NSW forwards were tired. He should have played a whole lot better than what he did. If Parker is being picked to play the final 20 minutes than we should be picking someone who'll make a much bigger impact than what Parker did.

    Parker did exactly what was needed of him imo, kept it steady. 7 runs for 58m, no missed tackles and a handy offload.

    I won't argue that Taylor would've provided better impact in attack, but that's not really what they needed, they needed a bit of composure and fresh legs, with all there stars they don't need a back rower that's going to take on a short side on the 3rd and throw a silly offload with the game in the balance.

    Not that I counted but when I re watched it he did comes up with a few misses that didn't really lead to anything, like making first contact and other players coming in. Would really need to re re watch it though.

    I wouldn't swap Parker for any backrower, and that includes Gallen. Although take away his long service and goal kicking and Gallen has it over him.
    Scott had more impact on the match. Boyd was great in the little he was involved in/
    You just had to mention Ross.
