Well I really didn't see North winning in a high scoring game. They managed to keep the attacking powerhouse that South possess quiet and create a lot of chances from their midfield.

1 Key Tackle from the South defence shows a large part of their problem during that game.

 

I think the main reason it comes out results that appear to be surprising is due to the fact that in reality there isn't really a massive difference between the majority of the players. With post counts coming in for next season and people playing more games the gap between players will become far greater, so it will be clearer between good and bad players.
