AI is shit weak in bahrain. Out braking them isn't hard even on Legend, IMO. However the ****s are good at just getting the traction you around the outside etc and keeping the spot anyway... ****s. I don't like the handling... Well mainly the fact that my car is spin happy in the most random situations. 'trail braking' is a lot harder than any F1 game I've played, which is a good challenge and more like how I imagine it is in real life, still takes a lot of getting used to.
Bahrain is a slut. Qualified 8th on legend and ended up 12th in race thanks to a certain ****tard Massa taking me out on a corner. The AI loves getting on your outside and cutting across even when you have the lead into the apex. Probably just the track being fail though. Its lots of fun. Whats your best times around Bahrain?
Didnt have the money but i cant play it until Sunday evening as im busy all weekend so its worked out fine
Got pole in Bahrain, then got moved back 10 places thanks to a penalty (or two :ninja in practice. -.-
ive played on most of the old game, and still have one for the ps2, and i kick the old circuits all over but the new ones are so much harder, might just ne my driving style tho
Rio, Malaysia and Melbourne are cracking tracks. Was on Rio earlier and had a bit of a sun shower during a couple laps, was awesome. The marbling is pretty intense on some corners.
Aww yeah, similar story here. Well sorta :P I clawed my way up to 4th and had a chance to take on Alonso in 3rd, got pwned in a corner, dropped back. Then Massa gets bitchy and I ended up spinning a couple of corners later thanks to him clipping my rear wheel. I fell back to 16th and worked back up to 12th. Team was happy though.
So I get onto Melbourne, and I'm really digging the track. I'm 11th after P1 which I'm happy with. Then for P2 it's pissing down rain and I can't see shit. Typical ****ing Melbourne!
Agreed. Mine was the same, I had light rain for qualifying but i wasn't happy with my initial run out, was sitting 13th on the grid. Had 5 minutes left and I knew I could squeeze in 2 more laps so I went for it. It starting pissing down and I was running option tyres (no chance of improving the time with intermediates) so it was an uphill battle. My last lap I just stuck to the dryline and got within a hundreth of a second off my time. I would have beaten it if it was dry
Because we pre ordered our PS3 when it came out we got to choose 3 games out of a list of 10. One of them was F1 championship edition. I was just playing it now (haven't played it in ages) and I was quite astonished how good the graphics were considering it was made so long a go and back then game makers didn't know how to use the PS3 graphics to the fullest extent. I think 2010 will be epic going on this basis. Not that I follow F1 but it's fun to play.
