Have it pre loaded on Steam right now and it unlocks on Saturday, can't wait. Going to get a new wheel/pedals for it as well as my old ones stopped working a few years ago. I use to play GP4 and F1 Challenge 99-02 way back in the day.
Spent an hour and a half practicing and qualifying and just when I was on my best qualifying lap ever my PC crashed. -.-
Just downloaded it, installing now. Been anticipating this one for agesssssss. As long as they get the simulation right i'll be happy. If it's not up to rFactor/GTR2 standards at bare minimum I will rage quit.
15 would have been more appropriate. In fact 15 plus the option to be a test driver at the end of it with a new set of demands and objectives for 5 seasons would have been perfect.
hmmm yeah, the thing with careers is, the drivers never change or move teams or anything... so basically, in the 7th year, schumacher will still be racing even though he will be 48
That's a bit gay.. They could have implemented some sort of Regens... Just use pictures of staff from codemasters (fetching chaps they are) and give made up names and stats and let them take over or move into teams during the tenure. Would have been epic.
I am aware codemasters is not a sim-house or anything of the sort. But i'm at least hoping it occupies me and my G25 till rFactor 2 or the V8factor 2010 mod for rFactor is completed.
I'm running it on max, ya ****. It's got to do with my controller. I have to disable driver signature enforcement every time I want to use my Dualshock with my PC. I accidentally unplugged the controller from the PC which caused the crash. Unavoidable unfortunately.
This is easily the best F1 game ever, so amazing. Loving the AI as well, ****ing finally they compete with you!
This excites me.. (although not so much the first line, its not exactly hard considering theres been **** all decent F1 games this century, GP4 is about the end of the road.) But decent AI? Just the thought makes me hard.
