    LMAO @ the people talking about Bent as a CF replacement at Liverpool.....

    Bent is absolute rubbish. Tottenham made a huge error in meeting Charlton's overestimation of his value... not worth it all... he'd be better off at a smaller EPL club or in the Championship.

    The thing is though tottenham signed him when he was in/around the England squad. agree that he should play for a smaller club tbh.. but he could have an amazing season next year so..

    Tosic played a few matches early in the season. But he's still young, and is settling in. Will play a role next year.

    Bent would be a very good back up player. I wouldn't pay 16 million like Spurs payed because he's not worth that much but he has 14 (i think) goals this season and he hasn't started many games for Spurs. Imo a very handy back up player for a big club

    Tottenham at the time was just throwing the cash.

    Charlton were more than happy to accept a 16mill bid.
    Defo not worth that much but I reckon he is Premiership quality if given the chance.

    Cant see him being a Liverpool player though. More a Fulham, Sunderland, Villa kind of player.

    Ye exactly... he's no donkey in the box, he's massively overrated. Had a gun season at Charlton then was kept to the bench at Tottenham and he slipped under the radar again.

    This season he's played more with the departure of Keane and Berbatov and has shined IMO.

    VP had a great season for you.

    Well tbh he technically does play as a striker. Plays there for Russia, played there at his old club too.
    You don't need a striker however so he plays out wide. Like Rooney for United.
