Kinnear is just coming across as a bit of a twat who thinks he knows it all and is the best at everything.

    Wind yer neck in son.

    Incredible.

That will bring in some serious money if that turns out to be true

At £55/£60 a ticket per adult, you'd think it'd make them a bit of money.

Disgusting price for a pre-season friendly.

It is but madrid will want to make something from it in TV and stuff like that, so stops the so called riff raff turning up, and if bradford played them I'd pay 55

I hope the riff raff do stay away. Shameful from Bournemouth.

Shameful? This is an opportunity for them to fill their 9,600 seat stadium with fans to watch one of the best teams in the world at £55. They could easily have charged £65+ per person and still filled it out.

They've worked incredibly hard to get a fixture with one of the best teams in the world, and some sort of miracle means they've landed it. There's a huge chance to help generate some extra, much needed, cash for a team embarking on their most exciting season in 23 years. If they want to stay in the championship and build on that, they will need money and every chance they can take, and this is a huge chance for them. And they've done well. It's not ideal to price out people who won't or can't pay £55 (or really, £60) but it's certainly not shameful.

They'd be stupid not to do it.

Yes, shameful. A inflated price to watch a meaningless game of football. I read they said it was a "treat". Hahaha, £60 for 90 minutes of lethargic football, a treat?!?! Leicester charged £20 not so long ago I heard before. About right.

Of course they will fill it, there's plenty of people who will lap it up. Probably half of them not even Bournemouth fans.

Tbf, if I were planning on going to that game I would regard that as somewhat of a treat. Not spending the money. It's still cheaper than what you'd have to pay to see Madrid in this country. £20 to see Madrid is an absolute bargain though.

Without wanting to detract from football or whatever, but so what? If they're football fans and enjoying the game, then so what? If I was a Bournemouth fan, I'd be living this. An incredible amount of exposure and extra income for the club ahead of what is likely to be their most exciting, difficult, and expensive season ever. It'll make it slightly easier for them, and like I said, it'd be stupid not to do it.

Like I said, it's not great, but still, I'd be happy to pay £60 for the chance to see Madrid, I'd be happy to work extra hours and work hard and save and pay double to see them play against my own club. It's a brilliant opportunity, especially for Bournemouth and like I said, they'd be stupid not to cash in.

There are many things that this is, but shameful isn't one of them.

Put it this way, if I were part of the organisers board, or a Bournemouth fan, I wouldn't be walking around hanging my head in shame at charging £60 to see Real Madrid play. I'd be very happy that my team were getting an incredible opportunity to play football with world class talent.

£60 for a competitive game of football against Real Madrid is shameful and disgusting. Nevermind a friendly. And people wonder why football, particularly in this country, is going down the shitter.

I guess ridiculous is the word I'd use. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to justify the amount, whilst I am saying that I would pay that to see that sort of a game. I just don't think shameful is the right word for it. But you're right, it's dad that football has taken this course, but it is the world we live in.

Haha if you don't think it's worth it then here's an idea: don't go.

  18. PienaarColada DH Mulray

Why would I go to a Bournemouth friendly match?

  19. loganb JEM Logan

    Cause Real Madrid are playing.

Real would have a pretty high appearance fee for it, doubt Bournemouth make that much money out of it
