    Best pickers of the round:
Early on in the round there were excellent picks from Prez & Howe. This was followed by an absolute steal from Incey as he managed to bag what looked to be the pick of the round with an incredible 9m. However, at the very last, Ritchie swept in with an awesome 6m pick (this included a double pick - yes, you read that right - two picks in 6m). Honourable mention to Goat, whose fantastic 19m was recorded at 1am GMT - always tough picking conditions.
It may have appeared that Heath played fantastically well but having picked in the early evening hours, his record flatters to deceive.
His stats don't paint a pretty picture but it's clear that Rusty has incredible technique and more than enough potential to pick at this level. As the only picker of the round to send his pick to Cribb, he facilitated what could have turned into a saving of five hours +.

    Worst pickers of the round:
Obviously the place to start would be with Captain who started the draft with a shambles, deciding not to turn up when selected. However, Chewie and Eds were also noticably poor, with their awful records running through the day-time in their respective regions - something they'll look to improve in the later rounds if they want to make the step up. This was a problem for Speirz too, who took up nearly a third of the time-limit, the vast majority of which running through the daytime.

    Eds rates the picker pickers

Cribb - awful performance, showed great talent with a strong knock on debut but failed to fulfill his potential and a run of poor knocks ever since mean he's now working as an administrator

morgieb - again showed early promise but managed to continue with a strong run of form, but hasn't played since his season finished, needs a good year to push for international honours

Eds - inefficient and sloppy technique means he's unlikely to push on from this to the next level, not likely to be resolved either

Athlai - telling his grandkids about how he was better than talents such as morgieb are all Athlai has left, solid record in NZ's indoor 3rd division

Think in general Mariner and I have had a couple that were over 8 hours, but normally we manage under five minutes.

45 minutes given i had no idea this had started and was out in the middle of nowhere in Tasmania was a fair effort tbh. Kudos to Hunter for letting me know.

This is the sort of confusion that can occur when you don't watch a picker actually pick. My apologies.
