Didn't notice that until now. Fuck that's gonna annoy me now... Aside from that, and that lightning quick defence, the game looks sick!
I think that first shot is a result of poor timing with the controls and on an easier level allowing the batsman to still make contact with the ball. I think on higher difficulties the room for error is a lot smaller and that will eliminate those sort of animations. Other than that, I'm pretty impressed, every other shot looks great and the bowling follow through seems really well done.
Am I the only one concerned with silly point catching full blown cover drives and the ball bouncing back off the stumps in the screenshots?
Was mentioned that fielders were the AI and there reflexes had been powered up to super human for the purpose of showing the catch so I'd expect it won't be that easy particularly the players we control. The stumps screenshot is taken from the trailer so you can see the physics of the ball, that does happen.
