    I don't think he's ever done anything but open at FC level. Him playing 3/4 in T20's/ODI's is more of a sign about how good and solid India's regular Top 3 in the format is.

    Any potential success (or failure) will likely be decided on how Cribbs rates the domestic FC structure in SA. I have tried to avoid players that gunned in the 3-day but struggled in the 4-day, and gone for guys that have shown good quality in the 4-day structure. And also guys who I`m certain will play for SA sooner rather than later.

    Yeah listen my team is poor but I think it'll probably surprise some (including myself) as I could easily see guys like Pieter Malan and Dane Paterson being rated higher than one would initially suspect.

    I mean in CWPL Dan picked a side that looked truly terrible compared to everyone else yet still managed a top-half finish IIRC. Anyone can surprise, I don't think your side is that far away from everyone else in any case.
