CricSim Origin meet up take 2

    Alright, as the other thread suggested, I am going to organise it this year due to Rumple not using the forums. As you may or may not know, last year a few of us met up and went to Origin 3 and hopefully we can get this going again.

    Pretty much this is how I think it is going to work. The game is on the 24th of June at GAYNZ stadium. Due to the fact that prices are actually raised this year, it looks as though category 3 seats are going to be the go. Now, last year we bought junior tickets (everyone was skeptical about it but it worked out fine) and this year that price is only 40 dollars. For an adult it is 50 dollars so it will be up to you if you want to get the adult one or save 10 bucks but risk the 1% chance of getting caught.

    Anyway, anyone interested to post in this thread, if a definite to also say they are a definite or a maybe. Money will come to me and then I will purchase the tickets. Numbers may be limited depending on how many I am allowed to buy. It must be noted that unless you have payed me in full, you will not get a ticket.

    Cut off date for payments: 1st of June!

    Unsure whether to post this here but a friend and I are going up to this game so I wouldn't be getting my tickets from you etc - here lies my problem for at the same time it would be fairly funny I'd imagine seeing a game with some of you lads and shiz so I was just wondering how tight things are with seats etc (I haven't gone to a game in over 7 years so I don't remember shizzle).

    Well technically it only takes 5 minutes to get the tickets. The problem is that it may be a bulk of tickets needed so the earlier we get them means the better seats we get and more chance of availability. It may also take time for all the money to be gathered so preferably would like to get the tickets at the start of June at the latest.

    Well, the online limit is 8 at a time so if there were more than I would try and get the others next to us or just go into ticketek and do it myself. So technically it is unlimited but the less there are, the easier it is.

    LoL at people being skeptical about buying junior tickets. I buy my season tickets as a junior and they've never checked.

    I've got a feeling this is in my break again, which would mean for me to be a definite, the Qlders would probably need to go and I'd get a lift with them halfway.

    I am keen however I will either need to have a way to travel myself (If I have my own car by this stage I would be happy enough to drive if blokes wanted to throw in Petty money. 4 QLD people would be able to get a lift by getting to Goldy which isn't that hard to do by train. Robina Station is close enough to my joint. But this all really depends if I get paid the first half of my contract money by then which is only really a 50/50 proposition or if I get money saved to go with Rudd's 900.

    Haha same. I get a family pass(1 adult 3 children) with my mate, his dad and his brother. So I'm not apart of their family and I'm not a child yet I've been fine for the past 4 years.

    I'd be willing to drive down if I can in fact go. My pulsar might struggle but it'd get the job done. Money's a big factor for me too as presuming uni's finished, I'd basically have to take a week off work, or 4 days at least, leaving on the tuesday and probably only getting back on friday. That's 4 days at the busiest time of the year for my work which could been bye bye to $700 odd. It's probably not worth it, on top of petty, drinking money etc.

    Honestly I am most likely now going to be in Sydney for Origin two and going to it with my cousin, should tell us where yas are sitting and ill come and have a beer or two with ya's.

    Watching also due to the fact my brothers mate is playing in the game before so I will meet up with him later.
