Gallant may be called up and Bowen into the halves. Apparently anyway.
Not a fan of Bowen being put in the halves but if it works then Ill say no more about it.
I reckon Cows are due for a big game. GO THE COWS.

Stats saying Rapira is playing ****ing awesome?

  6. Howsie DP Howell

Hardly noticed him tbh, he's put on one decent shot but besides that not much.

  7. SM MD Dorn

He had 30 tackles and 9 hitups through 50 mins or something epic

Spewin if pickers been taken off on 38..

Mogg should of been sent off tbh.........

Not deserving of being on report that Mogg hit but penalty yes imo.
Ref got plenty of calls wrong tonight to both sides, Watts pass to Graham wasnt forward, that was a fair try.
Very good grinded out win to the Cows, scrambled well when the breaks were made.
Bowen played outstanding, Watts, Payne, Mason all played great too.
Cowboys shouldve won by plenty but not complaining. It was a better performance then most games.
And without JT once again :D

Milne has some massive numbers. Might push Dugan to QC next week.

Thats the sort of footy the Cows need to play, the flair they showed in the first half, Canberra werent bad tonight though. Bowen played awesome in the halves, defended well in the line.

What went wrong with the Raiders? Or were the Cowboys just good?

I obviously didn't watch the game.

Raiders were pretty competitive tonight, botched a few chances but so did the Cowboys, bombed several tries, one was a bad call for forward pass. But the Cowboys deserved to win, was while not convincing, so much better then their previous games. Good to hitback after a belting.

You're joking right? Matt Bowen's 5 foot something and was basically falling down when Adam Mogg hit him (I wouldn't even call it a hit tbh, it was more of a brush AFAIC). How the ref could justify that basically winning the game for the Cowboys with 10 minutes to go I'll never know, it was a disgrace.

In saying that however the Cowboys deserved to win, they took their opportunities whereas the Raiders butchred quite a few chances. David Milne was excellent at the back though, surely he finds another club next season because he's wasted playing QLD cup.

I did say it definitely wasnt worthy of being put on report, would be ridiculous to charge Mogg with that, but Bowen didnt dive, anyone who watches MMA and UFC would know a simple hit to the head can temporarily stun or down someone. Bowens no cheat.
The Raiders had many chances to try to level the score but didnt take the opportunities. Cowboys probably shouldve won by more, having bombed so many opportunities in the first half and a couple of second half chances too.

Canberra lost because they were without their two main metre eaters; Shillington and TLL. Tilse is the only other NRL standard prop there.

That and Dave Furner is ****ing retarded.

With 20 minutes to go he had:

    hooker: Waddell
    2nd rower: Buttriss
    2nd rower: Galea
    centre: Thurling

Thurling was one of only 4 props selected. Waddell is shit. And Galea is a competent centre. FML.
