Melksham perhaps a weak link, I reckon Douglas should move into the middle as that's where he's best. Blicavs as someone who can play anywhere is a good resource, down back he'll be really handy when there are 3 talls to man up on so really like that (though I think Giles is a better fit if wanting a fwd/ruck only). Reckon you should look at a lockdown small back too, Backline all look good but Chaplin atm is a witches had and the other four (at least now, especially Smith/Langdon) aren't by any means 'defend first' backs and you could be exposed by a dangerous small as a result. That said I do like your side, will definitely push for top 4.
Yeah, I've actually had Melksham as a reserve and that wing spot free, but with the midfield quality thats left I thought I wouldn't really find anyone better. Interesting point on Douglas, I think I just had it in my head that he did so well for me on the flank last season that I'd keep him there, interesting. Yeah on that third tall, I'm not really sure what I want with it, like is it the mobility that I want which I can get with Blicavs or the pure rucking relief with Giles. I went through majority or last season tossing it up too and never really decided. Some things to think about.
It really depends on the other blokes in your forward line. I reckon with Riewoldt playing up field and all that Giles as a bigger body to crash some packs might bea better option but definitely get why Blicavs is so appealing. You'll probably end up needing to play him back anyway as most sides have three talls.
