Contenders/Pretenders

Souths for mine. They're primed for this. Easts have shown over the last few weeks that they have some real chinks in their armour. Neither their defence nor their morale is what it was this time last year.

And I think Souths's new left edge setup will cause them some real problems.

 

Don't write us off yet. We'll lift for souffs and we outplayed them only a couple of weeks ago.

We contain their forwards we'll win the game.

 

Nah, you think I'm biased. I sat near him behind the posts at Shark Park one night and every single hit-up the Roosters had he was screaming "get em onside!!". As if you could tell sitting behind the dead ball line. Even regular chookpen fans were telling him so give it a rest.
