Had to lol at this: I don't see you resting him from any club games to "protect his long term future", Robbo.
This doesn't give any legitimacy to this farce of a game. The only reason it was of any importance was because it was his goal at the start of the year to make the team not because it means so much to play for country. If his goal was to play in a game during round 12 then come that weekend the same would be said.
Obviously when he said this means so much to me he was talking about achieving his goals and growing up a kid wanting to do this means playing rugby league.
lol for all the people who have gone into the representative match day threads over this weekend just to post exclusively about a player from their team and how gun they are/how gun they're going to be I get criticised?
Daley backs Raiders rookie NSW ORIGIN coach Laurie Daley has endorsed Canberra Raiders rookie Jack Wighton as a ''project player'' capable of being a future Blues mainstay. ''I had some input into one or two to have a look at in both teams, Jack was one of those,'' Daley said. ''We see him as a future representative player, and someone who could be there for a while. It's slow steps for him, but throwing him into these types of games is good for his development, he'll watch what senior players do and go back to the Raiders a better player. Who knows in the next couple of years where he ends up?'' Read more: http://www.canberratimes.com.au/rugby-l ... z2R1pwZfxg see Daley loves him cribb. I reckon he sees himself in him.
Yeah makes sense. As has been pointed out by MF, I'm a massive fan. The sooner he ends up playing for NSW, the better IMO.
the best thing about him is that he's gun in defense. meaning 3 or 6...whatever there are no major issues.
Yeah, I actually don't think he is. Technically he's quite strong but I don't like his positional play on the right.
LMAO at Gus. "Was going to say the people of Coffs Harbour love their footy too but obviously they have something better to do today."
