I did expect this, it was a run one off on a scrum, propped up a moment, jigged inside then pedal to the metal to his outside, you can can see my winger is a bit surprised and a step behind the play. Evidentally caught Cronin flat footed and trod on his head.

To be fair he's a solid player, hits holes really well, big unit. Nothing spectacular though, probably not even the best centre at Gerringong let alone group 7.

 

I am an outside back and it's hard to say, I'm a better defender (he's fairly poor laterally) and have a better running game in terms of agility, speed and footwork. However he can set up his outside man better than I and also hits holes better than me, which I think comes from him having played centres for ten years.

I'd rate myself as a better player but not neccesarily a better centre, I score about double the trys he does, but he sets up his winger more often than I do (my winger is shithouse though).

 

The other thing is that his brother is the 5/8th, feeds him a lot of good ball and they seem as though they've grown up playing together, probably makes him look a bit better than he is.

You'd hate him and love me, he's a bit of a fat **** and my new boots are too pretty.

 

Yeah I know where you're coming from, I prefer fullback to centre for the record, kick returns and wade mckinnoning offloading forwards ftw.
