While I understand what you mean, I find it funny that a team can be "thin on centres" while having 4-5 centres who would walk into most teams.
Croker is not a centre IMO. They are our centres that I have names with the exception of Earl, whilst Thompson could slot in, he hasn't played there for over a season and doesn't seem to be too interested having signed with the dragons. Name me anyone else that is currently available that can play centre apart from those already mentioned?
I don't think Croker is either but there wouldn't be a shortage of teams willing to take him. I think you've missed my point anyway. I'm not denying that Canberra is currently in need of centres - I just think it is funny considering that with everyone healthy, they easily have the best depth in the centres of any team in the NRL.
Still wouldn't be the worst centre in the NRL. Ya can't expect your 6th choice centres to be rep quality.
