I'm glad he is staying in league. But ffs I can't stand Souffs, would have rathered him anywhere but there. The sleazy way the **** left is ****ed too. One thing I was always a little worried about though was how Glenn would be used. Especially seeing Gagai was being talked up to being the replacement for Winterstein. No doubt Glenn would be forced unto the replacement hooker role, which he is shit at. The Hunt/McCullough partnership was alright last year and it is a pretty good way of getting Hunt ready for 1st grade and McCullough into a full time hooker imo. I guess the same issue arises if the Tonga rumour unfolds. Like I said when Inglis was going to be coming. With a new centre and Gagai on the wing, we'd look like this. 2. Gagai 3. New centre 9. McCullough 14. Glenn 15. Gillett 16. Kenny 17. Prop/Hunt Hunt would be the most likely to be dropped which would severely weaken our hooker position, as McCullough almost certainly isn't ready to be an 80min hooker and Glenn is shit in the position. And if Hunt wasn't dropped the bench would be very Henjaky and shit. If we do in fact pick up or bring in a new centre from outside last years side, I reckon it may be worth using Glenn in the wing position. This would work better for the forward rotation too seeing Thaiday is playing near 80 min these days and with the rise of Teo and Gillett the back row is better off rotating around these blokes. Personally, I think Gagai should play out his time in NYC, or beter yet - have a run in QLD Cup next year.
I'd start the season with this side: 1. Hoffman 2. Kemp 3. Glenn 4. Hodges 5. Yow Yeh / Gagai 6. Lockyer 7. Ugh, Wallace 8. Hannant 9. Macca 10. Tronc 11. Gillett 12. Thaiday 13. Parker 14. Te'o 15. Hunt 16. Kenny 17. Anderson I like Glenn at centre, he's got a sexy orsm tackling technique, and is very light on his feet. Gillett also stays on the left mostly. Hunt replaces Macca until Macca can play the 80...then Hunt replaces Wallace.
Hunt gets some shit on here about his half play, but i cannot recall him playing half for a full-strength Broncos side. Surely he cant be expected to tear asses up when you have half a Qld cup side behind you in an NRL game. Has he played 7 inside Locky before? When Wal broke down in the 09 semi Glenn replaced him, and this year it was Norman.
The thing is Macca was fine playing eighty the season before, after his injury he went downhill. I'm sure given a full off season again he'd be fine with the full eighty. Hunt should be playing half in the Qld cup where he'd actually be gaining wexperience in the position you ****s want hi0m to play.
If he wasnt such a greedy **** then he could play at somewhere like Newcastle or Parra.. Would like to see the ARU sign him up and have him in the World Cup next year marking SBW
Haha. As I said ages ago, he should just not agree to a release from Melbourne, and screw them over last minute, leaving them over the cap again.
Most annoying thing was I was looking everywhere for odds on a Storm or Souffs spoon. No where has them up yet though
I hope he stays in the NRL, but I don't want the phaggot at the Broncos anymore. He's made a huge asshole of himself during this whole thing. No doubt Mundine had something to do with it too.
Chances are he'll end up in rugby, and be treated like shit as well. If he had signed the deal with someone else, then it wouldn't be blocked imo.
