The start of the episode was the beginning of the lie - the first time Walt really lied to skylar. The end was his final one. The dog is a recurring theme. Gail was the problem dog, Jesse the rabid dog and now Walt the stray dog
Figured what the flashback was about, just had no idea about this dog theme. Should've paid more attention to episode titles. Just read somewhere that Ozymandias is a title of a poem that's central theme is “The inevitable decline of all leaders, and of the empires they build, however mighty in their own time.“ Pretty cool.
Yeah especially given the subtle comparisons between Walt (and jesse, to a lesser extent) and fring all episode.
I think the last episode will involve Walt coming back from that protection system and trying to rescue Jesse who has been imprisoned and forced to cook for Jack and the Neo-nazis. That's why he was getting an M60 and ammo in that flash forward and getting the ricin as a last resort for himself.
