xbox for me but probably depends on what you're comfortable with... I suck on a ps. have to relearn controls.
I voted PS3 but I wouldn't be able to give you an unbiased answer. I've grown up with the Playstation brand from the original Playstation and am stuck in my ways. Would probably be best to find some mates that have an Xbox and PS3 and playing both then picking the one you prefer.
If I did want to go online, it would merely be to play guys from here, in which the majority seem to have sexbox.
Well I'm a PS3er and only play sports games and racing games really. I personally prefer the PS3 for this over the Xbox. It really depends what you want to do. For example, if someone was to ask me this question and said they'll be playing COD, I'd say Xbox. I personally only play online every so often as well, which makes the PS3 the better option for you. Rather than paying for something you'll hardly use.
The one thing that almost drew me away from getting an XBox was the blu-ray player in the PS3. But the fact that the XBox didn't have it wasn't a deal breaker.
I don't see the attraction of blu-ray anyway. You pay like $10 less for a DVD, if you ever buy DVDs I guess. Is the quality that much better?
Buying movies is just so pointless. I can understand buying seasons of a particular series but movies, nah.
If I buy it's series of shows that are awesome (Stargate, Firefly), or sports ones I doubt I'd find online (AFL shit etc)
There's no real difference in for racing and sports games between xbox or ps3. Most games are on both and are extremely similiar in everyway. The PS3 gives you advantages in blu-ray player, if that's your thing, and the online is free, which you say you'd only likely use to play against people on here... Well fuck paying money to do that. the PS3/360 split here is also roughly even, as the poll would reflect (every cunt always just votes their own preference in these things).
