Yes, I'm aware there are other threads along the same line, several in fact, but I wanted one tailored to my specific needs, so here goes. Which is best, given; - Gaming will be restricted to exclusively sports/ racing games. - Will seldom, if ever play online. - Don't expect high standards in graphics, moreso playability.
Sports and racing are done better on consoles than the PC imo. And don't buy a wii. In general sports and racing games released on the Xbox360 and PS3 are very similar if not the exact same game. PS3 is more expensive but can play blu rays as well.
PC is pointless if you aren't going online XBawx and PS3 not much between them, some have exclusive games though to their consoles
I actually reckon online would be better on a console; it's more likely that you'd find people to play against, but I don't know how it works. I think the only reason you'd get a PC over consoles for sports is if you wanted to play football manager I voted Xbox360 cos I think the controller is nicer (the ps3 one can be rather awkward for long periods imo) but I've never actually used a xbox360 controller :ninja:
Yeah I know the others might be better but I wouldn't play PC half as much if I had no internet. Only football manager and Nba2k12 I play offline
Well I play mainly racing and sports games and for me it came down to whether I wanted GT5 or Forza 4. All the other sports games are available on both. I went for an X360.
This is also true. Also there may be mods for some of the sports and racings games only available on the pc
Except you can get a lot of recent ea releases on PC. (Mostly because of the cracking community) so PC is useless. I would say PS3 because it has better overall functionality in my experience.
