Yo, wassup dudes? I am finally back from living in the US and thinking about starting this back up. The main question is - do you lot want it back?

If it were to come back it would require a different format - I'd run it through Jumpshot Basketball on my laptop instead. That should be quicker and easier for me - especially for updates etc. I could finish the current season on my Xbox if y'all wanted to - but I'd rather not have to switch between the PS4 and Xbox 360 that often for S7, hence the change to laptop.

If we were to bring it back I'd probably have to scrap a couple of team and the conference system - but I'd look to expand the regular season to something like 28 games and not worry about lineups for each round, just let selectors update it when they think necessary, and quick sim almost all the games if it can do it properly (if not I'd manually sim, but that shouldn't be too bad if not using 2K).

Also, if y'all want, we could start with new teams and/or registrations in case we have an imbalance of talent or something.

So, thoughts? I'll chuck a poll up to accompany the discussion.

Down for either a Mustangs revival in the new sim or a fresh start - happy to help assist someone manage a franchise prob prefer to back someone else to do a good job at operations though

    :eee:

If you were to use another program to sim (and imo the sim should be whichever is ultimately easiest for you), would it be difficult to convert the existing players to that program?

Umm, it'd take a while - but it'd be a hell of a lot quicker than updating 2K.

Would it be easier to do that than if we were to start fresh with new teams & registrations?

I would prefer to keep the same teams/players, but ultimately it should be what's easiest for you imo.

    Finish I reckon.

It'd be quicker to create players by starting new, but the organisation might take a touch longer. It won't be much of a difference either way so I'm happy to do what the majority wants.

If it's not much more effort overall, it'd be best to keep current player abilities. People put a lot of effort into developing players so it'd be great if it were possible to keep that.

    New players :D

  16. morgieb MC Burridge

I'd like to finish the season, that might be a tad selfish though....

Vote pls people, its so much easier for me :p

Logistically, starting fresh might be quicker and better - but we could lose a bit of history and culture. I'm torn.
