Yeah? Figured I needed more posts. Anyways trying to be as active I can be and hope it takes me somewhere in terms of performances.
You should do fine, last season nearly all the debutant batsmen/batting ARs did well. Chewie was really active and did really well, Narang was even more active and did exceptionally well, Teja was barely online an hour a week and still gunned it. I was an exception, though I caught up a bit in the last couple of games.
Registered a bit late for the Activity Reset tbh but I think I'm not doing that bad considering that. Will hope for the best. I'm curious about the other factors that may help in this but I suppose thats part of Cribb's secret recipe.
You can't do anything besides being active as far as the FC/SC formula goes. Everything else depends on things like experience and past performances for example, which you obviously have no control over.
Shagger had a shocker last season. This season should be batting friendly IMO - due to the fact that most of the gun (previously) pace bowlers are old and declining and the new ones are really yet to shine (ridd, heef, steve etc.) so the bowling isn't as good as the batting imo, and the new bats are really shining imo.
Makes sense. All this time I thought its just post count that matters. The recent scandal makes me realize that activity is seen differently. Have to appreciate the code used for these sims. Very clever stuff.
It's got two main aspects afaik, posting and time spent browsing. The reason why the 'scandal' worked was because CricSim auto logs you off after every 5 minutes or so of inactivity. Because of the fact that the 'Who's online' page refreshed every minute, simply leaving the page on would mean you'd stay online until you closed the page.
I see no sense in cheating on a forum so you could get better runs or bloody wickets low is just low.
Agreed. Better off just posting and hope for the best. Its more fun that way and you actually earn your runs/wickets.
