    My side would be...

    1.Billy Slater
    2.Darius Boyd
    3.Greg Inglis
    4.Willie Tonga +
    5.Justin Hodges +
    6.Darren Lockyer
    7.Johnathan Thurston
    8.Matt Scott
    9.Cameron Smith
    10.Petero Civoniceva
    11.Greg Bird
    12.Ashley Harrison

Actually, I'd probably start Thaiday over Bird as I think the latter would make a better impact player. Sammy tend to be very quiet off the bench. And Bird and Harrison are both left-side players.

    9. Cameron Smith
    10. Petero Civoniceva
    11. Sam Thaiday

Hayne on the wing is all sorts of gay. Makes more sense to play Harrison at lock too. Lewis isn't a workhorse defender.

Other than that I like your side.

  5. Stormer BH Borisc

Yeah, probably on the Harrison/Lewis thing.

Hayne's a top player, you could consider him a touch too flamboyant for an already strong Australian side but he's just too good to be left out, especially if it's for a player like Tonga who doesn't play wing as first choice. The other option is Morris but we'll have to see how his form is.

My Side would not feature Johnson

there you go MF, now go and argue why johnson should be in the side, which is clearly why you made this thread

Cunts are kidding if you think morris will lose his spot.

Lewis has been good in his role for Australia in the second row; if he stuck to that role for NSW in the second rower I'd be all for him playing there. Gallen has been good too. They shouldn't be dropped for being substandard in their Origin careers so far.

So I pretty much agree with Hunter's team. I'd consider Gordon for Morris possibly.

  15. Lukic L Popovic

Gordon, that's who I forgot. I knew there was a winger I was going to put in place instead of Hodges, but it wasn't Morris. Couldn't think who.

  16. Hunter AD Hunt

Nah mate. Gordon is fullback or centre only.

  17. Wilson SB Wilson

Gallen was Australia's best forward in the last series. Captain him.

  18. Cribbage RG Cribb

Nah Gordon is a gun winger.

  19. Hughesy JM Hughes

Lewis won't be fit in time for the Australian game so you can probably rule him out unless he comes back way earlier than expected.

I'd forgotten about Lewis's injury. Good point.
