MF is a rare species of mammals that show the characteristics of a nazi and a hippie combined. They live in rainforests, hunting normal folk who want to cut them down, because rainforests are shitty. They are also a subspecies of activists, who don't do fucking shit, except suck their own cocks and complain about everything. I've read about them in a book once.
So how are they contributing before they are selected? What have they done to influence Australia in any way apart from playing in the NRL, which has less of a contribution to Australia and how the country is than many other Aussies who support them?
You should really run some workshops at the council. Cunts can't dig a hole as quickly as you with machinery.
Genetic accident. Might as well take pride in having brown hair or lactose-intolerance. Admitting my own extremely modest contributions as an argument against taking pride in the achievements of said country is a way justifying myself? I haven't the faintest idea of what you're trying to convey here. Incidentally, I've never read that statement before.
You haven't produced a single argument as to why we should have national pride or why it's a decent or legitimate phenomenon.
I think it's just part of what makes us human, really. A lot of human traits and conditions aren't exactly logical but we have them anyway. Why should we have jealousy? What's the point?
Yes you are. A frank admission....kudos Another frank admission. Stop selling drugs, get an education and a job. You have potential. (Even if it is in a council office somewhere wearing a brown cardigan stopping people from getting things done) Samuel Johnson. Look it up
So people of Australia can't show pride in the country until we are selected to represent it? You're a moron.
Why should anyone love their family? Purely a genetic accident. Could have easily been a test tube baby. Moron.
Absolutely. But we should at least have the honesty to admit they're irrational. Even my advocated position of being happy about it rather than proud of it is irrational. For example, I'm not going to sit here and act like I support QLD because of any virtuous criteria such as the notion that we have more loyal selectors. Or a better culture internally. Or anything like that. I support QLD because I was raised in QLD.
Well, I think that's what national pride is all about. It's not logical or rational; it's just there. Almost an extension of personal validation and bias.
I think you can definitely feel pride for your state and country. Pride is feeling a sense of satisfaction because of your actions, choices, achievements, or those of people you're associated with or attached to. For example, if your son played Test cricket you'd be proud. For some, they feel so attached to a group, such as being apart of a state or national community that they can feel pride.
