18-10 Tamou the stand out player on the night. Thurston was a menace. Not enough completed sets by us. But a good showing.
Tamou scored a try and then made a bust that led to a series of sustained pressure that we never recovered from. Perhaps I shouldn't have said he was the standout player - he just did two standout plays that changed the game.
Probably one of the most boring and uninspired Tests I've seen in a long time. Congrats to Tim Sheens for finally coming to his senses and getting one of the best backrowers in the game back in the Test side. And also congrats to him for keeping said player on the bench for 55 minutes in favour of Tony Williams who was the worst player on the field. That decision alone should see Sheens sacked. Absolutely disgraceful. Scott, Smith and Tamou up front were sensational. The officiating, especially in the ruck was atrocious. For NZ, I thought Mannering was excellent in defence. Luke was very good. And I think Perrett showed why he should've been here ahead of Vatuvei for all those years.
Gotta say I thought Farah was a complete waste again. His service from acting half was prank. He did well to get Myles through but I could've done without his substitution despite the fact that I like dual hookers at the same time.
It played more like three halves than two hookers anyway; the only time Smith was actually at dummy half when Farah was on the field was when Farah was playing the ball.
that test was so boring, swear inglis ran the ball about 5 times all game but luke went pretty well so i'm happy.
