So, as some of you may have seen in the draw thread I'm not 100% sure how we're going to select our All Stars. So I'm gonna poll this shit and see what you all think and then decide from there. I need you to vote for: A - Mousey decides the All Stars (when voting 1)/Mousey picks South someone else picks North (voting 2) B - BBallSim team owners vote 3-2-1 by position privately via PM C - All BBallSim players have the opportunity to vote for each position via poll D - The top two leaders in the MVP race are captains and they pick the teams Also, I'd like to get the general consensus on how I should split the teams. Obviously with two captains it's simple, but all the others require something to split them. I can 1 - Split them fairly myself and get two even teams 2 - Split into North vs. South (as opposed to East/West). North has 20 contracts and the South has 28 by my count (including Asia as a full province, ie. Farhat and Rogers are North players). So voting 1A would say you want me to decide the All Stars and split them into even teams, and voting 2C would mean that all BBallSim players can vote for players to represent either North or South. Vote away.
I know it's a touch complicated btw, but it's to save from idiots like sHunt voting for all options if I made it multiple choice to answer both questions.
I'm pretty keen to spread the CricSim North (Britain, Asia and Queensland) v CricSim South (NSW, Victoria and NZ) game to as many of the sims we have here as possible. I've already spoken to Heef and Flack about it. Tends to create a fairly even split. The more sims it goes across, the bigger and more genuine a rivalry it will become across the board.
World option is cool. Definately think either you should do the selections. Either that or team owners.
Had a look at that already but ended up with South having 28 and North 20. Thought that might be a touch to wide for the moment. EDIT: Though I spose with the sim being so new players should all be of about the same ability anyway. Hmmm, might do this.
Yeah, I think I will actually. Especially as North is more likely to get more players involved in the future I'd say.
Well in that case I think you should select the South team and let someone else select the North team.
GAGF, D is the only way, slog it out fark this north and south shit. Noone even likes reppin these sides in the NBA refer to heat and celts riff, all it is is an extra 5mil on the end of you next contract per season.
Also, i reckon by the time selections need to made, Mousey you should post a full list of seasonal stats per player?
