Not confident at all. Every time I look at our bowling attack, it just looks worse and worse. Lets hope we do well.
Wouldn't class it as a "shock" if you do win. I know the odds tell a different story but still, it tends to be an incredibly innocuous bowling attack. Our batsman have made it a habit to underperform quite a bit this season too.
The Fangs really have underperformed. Just needs a tried and tested ALC star in the batting order and they'd rip the ALC to shreds.
Humble and Starris have both been guns, Humble averaging 27 and Humble 30. Veez averages 25 too. That's hardly innocuous.
Think we'd be in a better position if we had a tried and tested ALC bowler, rather than a batsman at this point, especially if they were a seamer.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I just feel like we've got a batting line up that's only going to improve and a bowling line up that's only going to get worse.
Starris will improve, Humble will stay similar I reckon. Veez is your only really worry I'd say, and I'm sure you'll snap up a pacer at some point that gets active - you've managed to do that until now.
Tends to be an innocuous bowling attack was more a long term projection. Veez and Humble are not reliable bowling options IMO. Starris is developing extremely well though which is good. Watch those averages worsen as the season goes on. If those two can destroy the Knights, Testies and the Kittens, I'll eat my words.
